Welcome to the Front Row Club!

This recording was made as a reference for ourselves while touring and as an archive of our live performance - it was never planned to be released. We have taken the original recording and 'mastered' it to provide a better sonic experience, however it has not been re-touched or overdubbed in any way. This recording is provided "as is" - warts and all - for your listening pleasure, so please keep this in mind when listening!

The Front Row Club is intended for those with "Front Row" passion for the band and it's touring history. And, of course, the future! Thank you for sharing your passion with us.

This show was originally released as the first-ever Racket Records release, 'Live at the Borderline' (Racket 1). Originally Racket Records releases were only available on tour and to the Web Fan Club members, but when we started our website in 1997, it was re-pressed and available to everyone. When this second pressing sold out, we decided not to re-manufacture 'Borderline', mainly based on sound quality, and the fact that we now have more Racket releases and official live albums. As the website has grown, we continue to get requests for the album, and the Front Row Club has allowed us to release it to a more forgiving audience!

The show itself was a Web Fan Club convention held in London, England, and has been edited down to fit on one CD. The original recording does contain some feedback squeaks - which unfortunately cannot be removed - however, we have 'remastered' the album for the Front Row Club to improve the overall sound quality.
