with the drummer John Martyr. It has several differences from 1).
The musical structure is also different: 2) has a shorter
instrumental introduction and a fading end instead of the
repetition of the instrumental opening. Live version 3) follows
the original studio version 1).

‘Crying Wolf’
Brewer’s: To give a false alarm. The
allusion is to the fable of the shepherd lad, who so often called
“Wolf!” merely to make fun of the neighbours, that when
at last the wolf came, no one would believe him. This fable
occurs in nearly every nation the world over.
‘The
Candy’
This is the name of the name of a boat. Three boats down from the
Candy means that the place (Brighton) where the story (about a
one night stand) took place was three boats away from the first
boat that had a name (in stead of a number) and was called
"The Candy".
